Products & Customisation

  • Q: Can I customise the chairs you offer?

A: Yes, absolutely. We specialise in made-to-order seating, with a wide range of fabrics, finishes, mechanisms, and frame colours available. Whether you need specific ergonomic features, branding colours, or specialist fabrics, we can tailor our products to suit your needs.

  • Q: Do your chairs comply with UK regulations and standards?

A: Yes. All our chairs are manufactured to meet or exceed relevant British and European safety and quality standards, including BS EN 1335 and BS 5459 where applicable.

  • Q: Do you offer fabric swatches or samples?

A: Yes, we can provide fabric swatches on request so you can be sure of your colour and texture choices before placing an order.

  • Q: Can I order chairs suitable for 24-hour or heavy-duty use?

A: Certainly. We have ranges specifically designed for intensive use and control room environments. Please speak to our team to find the best model for your application.

Reupholstery & Refurbishment

  • Q: Do you offer a reupholstery service?

A: Yes. Chairplan provides a professional reupholstery service for existing chairs—whether they’re our own or from other manufacturers. This is a great way to extend the life of your seating while refreshing its look.

  • Q: What can be reupholstered?

A: Most task chairs, meeting chairs, reception seating and soft seating can be reupholstered, depending on the frame condition. We’ll assess your furniture and advise on feasibility and cost.

  • Q: Can I choose new fabrics or colours when reupholstering?

A: Absolutely. You can choose from our full range of commercial-grade fabrics, including vinyls, wools, anti-microbial and eco-conscious options. We’re happy to help you match your existing interiors or create a new look.

  • Q: Is reupholstery cost-effective?

A: Often, yes. Reupholstery can be a more sustainable and budget-friendly alternative to replacement, particularly for quality-built frames.

  • Q: How do I place an order?
